About This Formula

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Spleen and the Heart share a close relationship: the Spleen produces Blood, and the Heart houses the mind, or spirit, which Blood anchors. Sustained worry and overthinking are said to deplete this axis — leaving fatigue, a poor appetite, palpitations, foggy memory, and sleep that is hard to fall into and easily disturbed.

Gui Pi Tang rebuilds both Qi and Blood while specifically nourishing the Heart and settling the spirit. It is traditionally chosen for the overworked, over-thinking person whose energy and sleep have both suffered. The most appropriate formula always depends on an individual’s TCM pattern, which the quick screening below helps confirm.
