Before transitioning fully to acupuncture, Dr. Winke spent 5 years in Los Angeles as a licensed massage therapist in Santa Monica and a certified yoga instructor at UCLA — building an integrated understanding of the body, movement, and healing that informs every treatment to this day.

Dr. Winke completed a rigorous 4-year Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine followed by a 2-year Doctorate program, graduating with a deep mastery of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, and East-West integrative protocols.

Beijing Clinical Residency
One of the defining chapters of Dr. Winke's training was his medical residency at Tong Reng Hospital in Beijing, China — one of the world's most prestigious TCM teaching hospitals. Immersed in classical Chinese medicine at its source, Dr. Winke studied directly under master practitioners and treated hundreds of patients across every major TCM specialty.
