How Superbills and Out-of-Network Reimbursement Work
A superbill is a detailed receipt with the information an insurer typically asks for when you file a claim yourself.

Call your plan and ask whether it covers acupuncture from an out-of-network provider, and what it needs from you to file.

Pay at your visit
You pay for your visit at the time of service, by card, including HSA or FSA cards.

We provide detailed superbills for your visits on request.

Submit it to your insurer
Your plan decides whether to reimburse you and how much. We can't promise coverage, and any reimbursement is between you and your plan.
We can't advise on any specific insurance plan, so your insurer is the best source for what your policy covers.
HSA and FSA Cards
HSA and FSA cards accepted for acupuncture treatment. This doesn't extend to cosmetic services like microneedling. Please check your own plan, or ask your HSA or FSA administrator, to confirm what your account covers.

No. We don't accept insurance. We're a cash-pay clinic, and we provide detailed superbills on request that you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
No. We don't bill any insurance plan directly. You pay at your visit, and if you'd like to file a claim yourself, we'll give you a superbill to submit.
No. We don't accept insurance, including Medicare, and we don't bill Medicare on your behalf. Original Medicare doesn't reimburse care from an independent acupuncture clinic like ours, so our superbills aren't meant for Medicare claims. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, ask your plan directly about acupuncture coverage before your visit.
A superbill is a detailed receipt for your visit that you can submit to your insurer. We provide detailed superbills on request; just ask. Reimbursement depends on your plan's out-of-network benefits and isn't guaranteed.

A New Patient Visit (75 minutes) is $189, and a Returning Visit (60 minutes) is $159. Prepaid packages of 5, 10 or 15 visits are about 10%, 15% and 20% off single-visit prices.
